A Quick Look Back at 2020…
As we’re about to step into 2021 and leave this year behind, we wanted to take a quick look back at 2020 and what we got up to in this crazy year!
We know that 2020 has been a tough year for everyone, but we’ll all get through these difficult times together and our industry will be back even stronger than ever!
Although this year has been extremely challenging, there have been some good points. We’ve put together a little montage of what we got up to in 2020, so watch it below and we hope you enjoy it!
From everyone at Killer Ink, we wish you a very happy new year and hope to see you all in 2021!
We were very thankful to be able to attend a couple of our favourite conventions at the beginning of the year, the Milano Tattoo Convention and Tattoo Tea Party in Manchester, and it was great to see so many of you there.
We also released a few videos with our good friends and sponsored artists. We started off the year with an interview featuring top UK tattoo artist Jenna Kerr to discuss her style, inspirations and her skyrocketing popularity.
We had the pleasure of welcoming Paul Talbot to our studio to discuss how to use a thermal printer for tattoo stencils, before watching Anrijs Straume unleash Hellsing’s vampire Alucard in our Halloween video.
Away from the video front, we also uploaded a Q&A with a handful of our sponsored artists about how to become a tattoo artist.
Many amazing tattoo products were released in 2020, but perhaps none more so important than the introduction of wireless tattoo machines.
The guys behind FK Irons and DarkLab followed up from their popular Xion rotary with the launch of the Spektra Flux, which features a detachable battery known as a PowerBolt to run the machine wirelessly. The team also released the touchless, OLED display DarkLab Hover power supply and DarkLab Lightning Bolt wireless RCA battery pack.
Cheyenne wowed us with a wireless version of the SOL Nova called the SOL Nova Unlimited, which is now offered with either a 3.5 or 4.0 mm stroke. In addition, Inkjecta’s wireless, battery-powered Flite X1 has impressed with its innovative technology and abundance of adjustment options.
Make sure to also keep your eyes peeled for the upcoming Force Wireless Pen and Pilot Wireless System from Stigma-Rotary®!
Away from tattoo machines, we’ve now launched our all-new brand Killer Beauty, which will be your one-stop-shop for everything relating to permanent make-up, micro-pigmentation, and microblading. Check out Killer Beauty’s Instagram page and other social media feeds for more information!
