We recently visited Simon Brown, also known as Simon Tattoos, at Unit Two Tattoo Studio in Brighton! While we were there, we had the pleasure of watching him work on one of his signature colour mashups, this time featuring Salvador Dali and Mr. Bean.
Known for his bold and vibrant colour work, Simon talked us through the techniques he uses to bring his designs to life. From mapping out the shapes and curves of facial features and slowly packing in the colours with a forward and subtle loose circle motion, his process is as fascinating as the final piece.
If you love the idea of combining two unique concepts or characters in one colour mashup tattoo, this is definitely one to watch!
