Brad Wallis Interview
Award-winning black and grey tattoo artist Brad Wallis invited us to his studio, New Dawn Tattoo Gallery in Waterloo, Liverpool, for a chat and the chance to film him working!
Brad is known for his detailed and realistic black and grey pieces, which range from portraits of humans and animals to landscapes and scene compositions, with a particular focus on hip hop legends.
We asked Brad for his tattoo origin story, what he loves most about his job, and what goals he has for the future. Plus, check out his black and grey realism portrait of Jake Peralta from Brooklyn Nine-Nine, played by the hilarious Andy Samberg.
You can find Brad Wallis on Facebook and Instagram, or check out the New Dawn Tattoo Gallery in Waterloo to see who’s there with him!
