This black ink is definitely worth trying out. It flows beautifully and works into the skin with ease. I’ve used it for both lining and solid black fills, and the results are excellent either way. Granted, it is easy to write a review when your favourite colour is black, but this genuinely performs. The flow is smooth and, crucially, it doesn't clog my tiny, tight needles. It's worth a test at least.

This machine genuinely stands out because of the balance. The weight is distributed right in the centre, so tattooing with it feels much closer to drawing with a pen than handling a bulky machine. What is really likable is the versatility and attention to detail. It has a dedicated dotwork mode that gives stippling a completely new feel and control. I use it mainly for lining, but it handles colour packing and shading just as well. The battery life is solid, charges fast with the cable, and having the spare battery means zero downtime. Another great touch unique to Dragonhawk is that they include a leaflet with recommended voltage and Hertz settings for both modes. Almost no machine providers do this, and it shows they actually care about the craft and how artists use their tools. Dragonhawk is definitely a company to watch. They are genuinely inventive, the engineering is smart, and their gear is far more affordable than other brands across the range. Really pleased with the purchase.

These Kwadron hybrids are amazing for realism. I use a lot of tiny tight liners, and the ink flow on these is spot on. They barely spit at all, and they wash out easily. The Dragonhawk WJX has that textured tube to hold more ink, which is alright, but Kwadron is just one step ahead. They've figured out the perfect ink flow. Highly recommended, these are my new go-to.
