FK Irons EXO Rotary Tattoo Machine - Stealth, RCA Bolt & 2x PowerBolts

Switching between wired and wireless setups mid-session shouldn't mean changing machines. The FK Irons EXO is a modular rotary tattoo machine that ships in the Stealth colourway with two PowerBolts and an RCA Bolt. Run it wireless or plug in via a traditional power supply - a quarter-turn mechanism swaps between modes in seconds.

The EXO runs a 9-Watt brushless direct-drive motor across a 5-12 V DC range, delivering a stitch frequency of 25-160 Hz. It's particularly strong for colour packing and saturation work, reducing the number of passes needed to lay down ink and minimising trauma to the skin.

A 40 mm forward-weighted grip machined from 6061 T6 aircraft-grade aluminium gives the EXO a pen-like balance that helps reduce wrist fatigue during longer sessions. Needle depth is adjustable via a ratcheted system, with each click providing 0.2 mm of displacement. The grip is autoclave-compatible up to 132.2 °C, and the 6061 T6 aluminium housing stands up to daily studio use.

Both PowerBolts connect to the DarkLab App via Bluetooth, giving you six levels of eGive adjustment (0-5) from your phone. In wired mode, pairing the RCA Bolt with a DarkLab Hover power supply unlocks the same eGive functionality. PowerBolts charge via USB-C, and built-in reverse polarity protection guards the motor against accidental miswiring.
