The Danny Harkin Imperial Crown is a very solid rotary tattoo machine that is built to last. The Imperial Crown's casing has been machined from a solid piece of aluminium. Its Faulhaber motor ensures the Imperial Crown has plenty of power and runs smoothly at the same time. The motor has graphite brushes and the ball bearing has been sealed, so the machine requires no maintenance.
The stroke length can be adjusted by changing the position of the connection rod on the armature bar: setting it all the way to the front gives the most torque, which is ideal for lining and colour packing, while moving it further back makes it run softer, which is best for shading and black & grey work.
The Imperial Crown comes with a custom-made drive bar, making it suitable for use with tattoo cartridges as well as traditional tattoo needles.
