How to Tattoo a Horror Portrait with Rare Candy
In this video, the team at Killer Ink head to Golden Dragon Tattoo in Chester to learn the art of horror portrait tattooing with Rob Blythin, aka Rare Candy.
Golden Dragon Tattoo is a virtual treasure trove of horror memorabilia, and Rob’s own section of the studio was the perfect backdrop for this horrific portrait of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’s villain, Leatherface.
Check out the video below to see how Rob puts together this horror portrait, using magnum cartridges for the majority of his work, even for lining!
We hope you enjoyed our tutorial with Rare Candy - make sure to follow his work for more horror goodness on Instagram or check out Golden Dragon Tattoo!
