French tattooist Sébastien Coston, known as Shooby, is a realism wizard who is equally proficient with colour work as he is with black and grey pieces.

Always attracted to an artistic career, Shooby made the switch from selling his original paintings in his spare time from his 9-5 job to becoming a tattoo artist at his friend’s studio back in 2009.

When his friend opened a new studio in a different town, Shooby was handed the reigns to the first, creating what we know today as Me Gus Tattoo, one of the finest tattoo shops in France.

Located in the suburbs of Paris in Lagny-sur-Marne, Me Gus Tattoo is home to some of Europe’s most talented artists. Joining hyper-realism master Shooby is black and grey micro-realism enthusiast Guillaume Martins, script/lettering professional Fat Kush, and black and grey artists Say and Sethyr.

Spending just over 10 years honing his craft and earning a place at the table, Shooby is now regarded as one of the best realism artists around, whether in colour, black and grey, or a unique blend of the two!

He will also be opening a new tattoo studio in the near future close to Disneyland Paris, where he will regularly welcome international artists as guests.

Shooby uses a variety of tattoo supplies from Killer Ink Tattoo to create his realistic pieces, including Tattoo Armour aftercare pads, Intenze Tattoo Ink, and Cheyenne HAWK tattoo equipment.
